Servos
I bought an Hanger9 Beaver DHC-2 off e-bay from Hobb-e-mart, you know one of those parts missing, broke, scratch and dent deals. My question is, they recommand MN 48 JR mini servos and they are 25.00 a piece. Can anyone recommend something a little cheaper that will do the job? I'll be using the E-flite Power 32 motor with there 60a ESC.
Thanks Bob Fraser (RF)
THANKS Al, I went with the Hitec.

I was going to say, what another plane? But then I'm not one to talk. I think this what John Bardeau had and it performed well. Hope you got a deal on her and we get to see her maiden. Glad I could help with the servo selection. I like that you went with the "high" power setup.

Or maybe a better choice is a Hitec 225, just a tad heavier, a bit more torque. With the quanity discount and since you need 6, you save about $50. The metal gear version is a favorite for the 3D electrics in the 47"-55" range. These are identical with ball bearing and nylon gears.
