Club Meetings and Topics

Are we meeting the first Wednesday in January? Will it be at Al's house? Thanks in advance to whoever hosts the winter meetings - it is a real treat to go someplace warm and talk about airplanes.
This could be a good place to start discussion about discussion/presentation topics for the meetings.
There was an idea to do airplane (and helo?) repair. I also was thinking on a topic on electric power systems would be cool.

Good to hear from you. Yes the next meeting will be at my place, and that will be on Jan. 6th at 7pm as usual. For those who are new or are thinking of RC in general, please join us. My house is at 12 Taft St. in Essex Jct., VT. All are welcome as long as you are RC addicts or want to be :-) .
I'm thinking of asking Tony to go over the new contest plane (maybe I should ask him first). I've still to open the box on mine and I got the standard parts from Mike. So for starters I thought we'd crack her open and have a show and tell on what the contest plane looks like, how it's to be configured for the contest per the rules and talk about the particulars.
After that, yes lets discuss some themes for the next winter meetings. As ususal, we all want to see what you got for Xmas and anything interesting to share.
It's been nice to take a break during the busy holidays, but with the cold weather I'm already getting antsy to fly again. The nice Nov. weather was extra nice, I got in a bunch of extra flying days in. Maybe I'll do a quick intro to outdoor winter flying.
