The first one will work with the motor/esc, the second one no way.

Agreed with Mark B, IMO for

IMO for 3D you want at least a 2:1 thrust ratio, If you're used to flying your foamy your probably used to having a 3:1. The motor puts out a MAX of 10 pounds of thrust using 6-cell (4600g to pounds). which fits the 60" Edge perfectly.

Hobbyking's page says "Use this motor with 4-6 cell Li-Poly packs and 11-12 inch props on planes up to 8 lbs flying weight." So the 9-10 pound 70" Extra is out.


This motor may be better suited for the 70" Extra,
