Hi all,

I just aquired an older biplane kit, it is unfinished just needs motor, servos and rx.The top wing is 54" X 8", bottom wing 48" X8", overall length is 38", ailerons top and bottom.Any  ideas about CG and engine size ( I have a 46 and 61 available), prop ?  I'd like to post a pic but can't figure out how to.

That's pretty sweet! Are you

That's pretty sweet! Are you going to the meeting on Wednesday? If you are, bring the plane with you, and have some of the guys take a look.

By the dimensions, it sounds like a .46 will do just fine. balance and incidence will be your biggest factor.  You said it was unfinished, does that mean bare wood too?  I won't be able to make the meeting this week, but for sure the guys will be able to place it, if you bring it.  Also the airfoil is a give away, for power that is needed.  semi-symmetrical, or symmetrical... when you figure out the picture attaching, post one or send an e-mail...
