Hey flyers,  I was just watching some old videos from last years indoor FF. I noticed that more than one of the flyers were using 2.4ghz radios and their antenna's were set to straight out. If I'm not mistaken that is not a good idea. I believe I've heard and read that your antenna's will broadcast a blind spot in that orientation, especially straight out which tends to be where your plane is while you are moving your body to follow the action. Best idea is to get in the habit of pre-flighting your transmitter to have the antenna bent at a 45 degree angle.
