What was the pylon racer that Mark and Steve have already. Shouldn't we just stick to that if we're going to do serious pylon racing? This one is $70, the oh ya it's the pogo?? right? , how much was the pogo?

Hey maybe we should all build

Hey maybe we should all build "Double Troubles" and get them to do a 100+mph ???? Now that would sound and feel like a race!!! If they crash then the pieces would fly everywhere!!! Cool.

i cant afford to build a pogo. The airframe alone was 129.99  think? That HK Critical Mass was $69.99, plug and fly. Cool little fast plane. Maybe a blast to pylon with. Just a thought

We talked about this on the

We talked about this on the ride down to the Barre indoor FF, The problem with all these pylon racers is that your now talking about 100-120mph plane, and whether its foam like these HK planes, or Ply/Balsa/Film like the pogo they are not going to take a crash like the wing. Your going to snap a wing, control surface off every crash, we're gonna glue them together in a hurry to make the next race, and after a few times they are going to fly like crap. You're going to need to buy 5 airframes to make it through a season of 10 races. I can't Justify $350-400 on pylon racing.

I'd Rather put that cash into going to Joe Nall and/or SNAP

Yup, now that I think about it, I declined to sign up for pylon this year. Got better things to do with my time and money.

No need for streamers with

No need for streamers with these things. However, you need a chase plane, flying at half speed.
